Hello everyone! Well, the votes have been tallied and the winners of the first Hanfic Genre Challenge have been announced. Winners and runner ups may collect their awards and save them to their own sites.

Well, I just got finished re-vamping the look of my LJ (again.) I think I finally like the way it looks now. :) I change the look of my sites way too often. I swear it has become an addiction.

Anyway, the feedback for my last update of Beautiful Liar was completely amazing! I don't remember getting that much feedback in a long time. So THANK YOU very much to those who read the chapter and left comments in the guestbook. You all have inspired me to start the next chapter already! I am about half-way finished, so I will be posting it very soon! Possibly by tomorrow night. :)

Also, there are only a couple of days left to vote at the Hanfic Genre Challenge. If you haven't been over to vote for your favorites yet, be sure to do that soon!

Hey guys! Well, you guys took the poll and voted that you would like to see Beautiful Liar updated next. The good news is that I'm finally out of this writing slump, and I am working on the chapter as we speak! I didn't realize how much I missed writing this story until I actually started working on it. I will have the update for you by this weekend! Thanks you to those who participated in the poll. :) I hope you will enjoy the new chapter once I get it finished.

I also wanted to remind everyone that voting begins at midnight (eastern time) for the Hanfic Genre Challenge. If you have a favorite HGC story, be sure to go over and vote for it! We would like to have as many people participate in the voting as possible.

Hey everyone! I am just giving you an update on the HGC. Signs ups have opened and we already have three categories that are full! There are still plenty of spots open, so be sure to get your pick right away. A list of available genres include:

Hey everyone! I have to say that one of the perks of being a teacher is the fact that I have days off when the weather is bad. It is supposed to get down to -2 degrees tonight, so school was cancelled. Anyway, I hope to get a lot of writing done tonight, and my first update is a new chapter of Beautiful Liar. I posted Chapter Nine tonight, so check it out if you have time. Also, feedback would be awesome. I'd love to know what you think!

Also, keep in mind that the sign ups for the Hanfic Genre Challenge will start on Sunday. Check out the site and see if you might be interested in participating. :)

Renee P. (prettyzombiegrl) and myself, have decided to host a new Hanfic writing challenge. Sign ups will start on January 18, 2009. Writing will begin on February 2nd, and continue through March.

The challenge will be based on library book genres and there will only be two spots available per genre. So far we have had quite a few people show interest in participating, so be sure to sign up early for a better chance of getting your first choice of genres.

The stories can be short pieces, long chapter series, a collaboration, etc. The type of story you choose to write is completely up to you.

The only thing we have set up are the specific genre types that must be followed in order to participate such as Science Fiction/Fantasy, Horror, Autobiography, Young Adult, and more!

Check out the site, rules, and genres to see if you are interested in participating. If you have any questions, feel free to ask! We would love to have as many of you participate as possible.
